Server migration and co-authors

Posted By Cultural Shifts On March 8, 2008 @ 3:58 am In X-Internal News | No Comments

We’ve migrated Cultural Shifts to a new server with more data capacity and processing power. You shouldn’t notice any difference in the functioning of the site (but if you do, please [1] contact us). The main purpose of the migration is to make the site a little more future-proof.

We’ve also been working on implementing a co-authorship capability (as you can see here). From now on, after you make a post, you can contact us if there is also a co-author. After the editors add the co-author to the post, it will show up in their [2] contributor profile. At this point, only the primary author can edit the post.

Finally, our RSS feeds are now syndicated through Feedburner. We’ll be working on creating more feeds soon. ([3] Learn more about RSS)

Thanks,
Cultural Shifts
