New tagging system and database restoration

We’ve installed a new tagging system, as described below. We’ve also had to restore the database from early this morning, so if you see anything amiss, please contact us.

Choosing from all the tags available:

  • When you create a new post or edit an old one, you’ll see a “Display Click Tags” just above the Save/Publish buttons.
  • This will display all the tags in use on Cultural Shift(s).
  • Just click the tags to add them to your post.

Choosing a recommended tag:

  • You can see what tags are recommended for your post by looking just under the Save/Publish buttons.
  • Click one of the options:
    • Local Tags (those recommended that are already in use on Cultural Shift(s))
    • Yahoo (those used often on Yahoo.com)
    • Tag the Net (those use often on Tag the Net)
  • Then click the tags you want to add.
