Well, I’m not sure if you’d call it bad news, but Ottawa Mayor Larry O’Brien was charged today with attempted bribery during his 2006 electoral campaign. O’Brien beat out Alex Munter during that election over the issue of tax freezing, though that hasn’t turned out as planned.
On the international stage, Yvo de Boer, the UN climate chief has accused Canada of being hypocritical in its stance on climate change. But, does Canada even remain a player in addressing global climate issues?
